Changes happen in the London bus service, here we have a page in which all the service changes can be found in one place easily.

Date to Be Confirmed

Route 8 - Restored to Serve Oxford Circus at all times and all journeys running via New Oxford Street


Route 69 - Allocated with 4 new Enviro400 MMC Virtual Electric buses from Stagecoach London's West Ham garage running as extra journeys.


Route 82 - Allocation changed to Volvo B5LH/Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 double-decker buses initially for newly won routes 34 and 125. The current buses operating on the route will in turn, go to the 34 and 125


Route 332 - New E40H/Enviro400 MMC buses introduced

February 2015


Route 15 - Converted to run with New Routemaster buses, certain early and late journeys from route N15 will continue to use standard buses from route 205 and Barking Garage (BK) (28th February)

Route 55 - Contract retained by Stagecoach: East London from their Leyton garage with 37 new Wright New Routemaster double-decker buses (Already in service) - (28 February 2015)

Route 56 - Contract retained by Stagecoach: East London from their Leyton garage with 24 new existing E40H/Enviro400 MMC Hybrid buses . (28 February 2015)


Route 390 - Withdrawn between Notting Hill Gate and Lancaster Gate due to Roadworks (28 February 2015)

Route 488 - Contract awarded to Tower Transit from their Lea Interchange garage with 12 new AD E20D/Alexander Dennis Enviro200 single-decker buses to be fitted with a Williams GNF Flywheel. (28 February 2015)


March 2015

Route 212 - Contract awarded to Tower Transit from their Lea Interchange garage with 10 new hybrid Volvo B5LH/Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 double-decker buses. (7 March 2015)

Route 282 - Contract retained by Metroline West from their Greenford garage with 18 existing Alexander Dennis Enviro400 double-decker buses (already in service). (7 March 2015)

Route 415 - Contract awarded to Abellio London from their Walworth garage with 9 new Alexander Dennis Enviro400H MMC Hybrid double-decker buses. Extended from Elephant and Castle to Old Kent Road Tesco (7 March 2015).

Route 444 - Contract awarded to Tower Transit from their Lea Interchange garage with 10 new Wright Streetlite single-decker buses. (7 March 2015)

Route 657 - Contract awarded to Go Ahead London: London General from their Northumberland Park garage with 1 existing Double Decker (7 March 2015)


Route 350 - Contract retained by Abellio London from their Hayes garage with 10 new Alexander Dennis Enviro400H MMC Hybrid double-decker buses. (21 March 2015)

Route 482 - Contract awarded to Metroline West from their Greenford garage with 10 existing Alexander Dennis Enviro400 double-decker buses. (21 March 2015)

April 2015

Route 432 - Contract awarded to Go-Ahead London: London General with 10 double-decker buses, existing WHV class buses. Where they are coming from is unknown (4 April 2015)

May 2015

Route 191 - Contract retained by Go-Ahead London: London General from their Northumberland Park garage with existing Dennis Trident 2/Alexander Dennis Enviro400 double-decker buses to be fitted with a Williams GNF Flywheel. (2 May 2015)

Route 322 - Contract awarded to Go-Ahead London: London General with 12 new 
Enviro200 MMC/E20D flywheel-hybrid single-decker buses. (2 May 2015)

Route U10 - Contract retained by Metroline West from their Uxbridge garage with 2 new flywheel-hybrid single-decker buses. (2 May 2015)

Route G1 - Contract retained by Go-Ahead London: London General from their Waterside Way (Plough Lane) garage with 4 new Enviro200 MMC/E20D flywheel-hybrid single-decker buses and existing Plaxton Pointer buses. (2 May 2015)

Route 135 - Contract awarded to Go-Ahead London: Docklands buses from their Silvertown garage with 16 new Volvo B5LH/Enviro400 MMC double-decker buses. (23 May 2015) 

Route 177 - Contract retained by Stagecoach: Selkent from their Plumstead garage with 20 new B5LH/Enviro400 MMC double-decker buses. (30 May 2015)

June 2015


Route 253 - Contract retained by Arriva London from their Ash Grove garage with 30 double-decker buses. (Expected to be HVs released from route 73) - (6 June 2015)

Route 103 - Allocation transferred from Romford (NS) garage to Rainham (RM) garage to make room at Romford garage for route 498 and 499 (27 June 2015) 

Route 245 - Contract retained by Metroline West from their Alperton garage with 23 existing Wright Eclipse Gemini 2/B9TL buses (already in service) - (27 June 2015)

Route 285 - Contract retained by London United from their Hounslow Heath garage with Brand new E40H/Enviro400 MMC Double Decker buses (27 June 2014)

Route 460 - Contract retained by Metroline Travel from their Willesden garage with 12 existing double-decker buses. (27 June 2015)

Route 498 - Contract awarded to Stagecoach London from their Romford (NS) garage with Brand new E40D/Enviro400 MMC buses (27 June 2014)

Route 499 - Contract awarded to Stagecoach London from their Romford (NS) garage with Brand new E20D/Enviro200 MMC buses (27 June 2014)

Route 326 - Contract awarded to London Sovereign with existing Single Decker buses from route 285. Operated by Edgware garage (25 July 2015)


Route 383 - Contract awarded to Uno with 3 new Single Deckers (25 July 2015)

August 2015

Route 116 - Contract retained by London United from their Hounslow (AV) garage with double-decker buses (to be confirmed). (29 August 2015)

Route 119 - Contract retained by Go-Ahead London: Metrobus from their Croydon (C) garage with double-decker buses (to be confirmed). (29 August 2015)

Route 198 - Contract retained by Arriva London from their South Croydon (TC) garage with existing double-decker buses from route 135. (29 August 2015)

Route 246 - Contract awarded to Go-Ahead London: Metrobus from their Oprington (MB) garage with existing single-decker buses from route 202. (12 September 2015)

Route 352 - Contract retained by Go-Ahead London: Metrobus from their Oprington (MB) garage with 6 new flywheel-hybrid single-decker buses. (12 September 2015)

Route 354 - Contract retained by Stagecoach: Selkent from their Bromley (TB) garage with existing single-decker buses. New Sunday service introduced (12 September 2015)

Route 358 - Contract retained by Go-Ahead London: Metrobus from their Oprington (MB) garage with 19 new flywheel-hybrid single-decker buses, PVR increased to 17. (12 September 2015)

Route 324 - Contract awarded to Metroline Travel from their Cricklewood (W) garage with 8 existing single-decker buses from route 326. (24 October 2015)

Route 674 - Contract retained by Go-Ahead London: Blue Triangle with existing double-decker buses. (24 October 2015)

Route 692 - Contract awarded to Sullivan Buses with existing double-decker buses. (21 November 2015)

Routes serving Victoria are planned to return to their normal routing via Terminus Place
